Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has broken silence over his future following the 3-2 Premier League win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The Argentine has been under pressure for most of the campaign due to the club’s poor league run, but there has been an improvement in recent weeks.
The Blues have jumped to seventh in the table on the back of three successive wins and Pochettino says that he is thinking of another season with the club.
When pressed on his future, he said: “I am always a coach who is thinking long term.”
“All departments must be happy for us to be a good team to compete.
“I still have one more year in my contract and I am thinking to be here.”
Chelsea have had a tough time with injuries this campaign and they will be hoping for better fortunes from the start of next season.
With the Blues in line to qualify for European football, there is a high possibility that Pochettino will continue in his position.
