- Poland star originally banned from roads for six months and again for 12 months
Brighton and Hove Albion footballer Jakub Moder has been hit with another six-month driving ban after he was clocked speeding.
Moder, 24, lost his licence being clocked speeding at 85mph on an A road in his £100,000 Audi RS Quattro while on the way to training.
Polish international Moder, 24, was banned after totting up 15 penalty points.
Magistrates in Crawley also fined him a total of £628 after hearing the player is a high income offender.
But believed to be on a five-figure weekly pay package, he will be able to earn the fine back in a matter of minutes.

The Polish star, who lives in Hove, was clocked breaking the 70mph limit twice driving his Audi RS Quattro, which would have cost six figures if bought new, while on the way to training on the A27 in October and December 2022, the court heard.
On October 22, 2022 he was clocked at 85mph. Two months later on December 12 he was recording driving at 81mph on the same road.
Moder does not have a British driving licence and was entitled to drive in the UK on his Polish licence.
When his first speeding offence was clocked, the DVLA created the ‘ghost licence’ as a record of his driving, which is created when a driver on a foreign licence commits an offence.
The court heard he was originally banned for six months last year and again for 12 months after breaking the speed limits in Derby and Cambridgeshire.
Details of a third speeding offence could not be located by the DVLA. The case was reopened after an application from the player.
Moder was not present at the hearing and his representative Mark Haslam confirmed the guilty pleas.
‘He was disqualified but didn’t know about it.
‘These were administrative issues not in his control. He has already paid quite a significant penalty,’ Mr Haslam said.
Magistrates accepted the case was an administrative mess. Moder will pay a £292 fine, £220 costs and the £116 surcharge as well as the six month ban.
The Seagulls favourite, who will join up with his Polish teammates at Euro 2024 in Germany this summer, was given 28 days to pay his fine. He joined Brighton on a five-year deal from Lech Poznan for £6m in 2020.
