Tottenham Hotspur are lining up an approach for Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer.
Hudson-Odoi left the Blues for Forest on a permanent deal last summer and he had a good season with eight goals and two assists from 35 games.
Spurs are said to be impressed by his progress and they are now preparing a formal bid to secure his services from Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
Forest currently have financial problems to deal with and it is claimed that they could sanction his sale for a fee of around £25 million.
Hudson-Odoi could be tempted to accept the proposal. He has the chance to return to London and the assurance of Europa League football.
If he were to impress for Spurs next season, it could boost his chances of earning a recall to the England national team in future.
Aside from Hudson-Odoi, Tottenham have also been linked with a move for his teammate Morgan Gibbs-White in recent weeks.
