Erling Haaland has surpassed Harry Kane by scoring the most career hat-tricks for club and country.
The Manchester City star hit the 22nd treble of his career as he scored all of Norway’s goals in their 3-0 friendly win against Kosovo.
Haaland has now overtaken Kane, who has 21 career hat-tricks, while he also has more than Kylian Mbappe and Sergio Aguero, as reported by Squawka.
Nine of Haaland’s hat-tricks have come for City, with his most recent being a four-goal haul against Wolves last month.
Against Kosovo, the prolific Haaland found the net in the 15th, 70th and 75th minutes.

In total, Haaland has now scored 30 goals in 32 appearances for Norway.

Haaland also boasts other records relating to hat-tricks – he was the quickest player to score two, three, four and five hat-tricks in the Premier League.
There will be another opportunity for Haaland to add to his tally for Norway on Saturday when his country face Denmark away in another friendly.
Despite his status as one of the standout strikers in world football, Haaland won’t be at Euro 2024 after Norway failed to qualify for the tournament.
