Leeds United have completed the signing of Largie Ramazani from Spanish side Almeria for an undisclosed fee, subject to a work permit.
The Athletic reported on Wednesday that the Championship club had agreed a deal for the Belgian forward, who spent three years at Manchester United as a teenager.
The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract at Elland Road and will wear the number 17 shirt. Ramazani becomes the club’s fifth summer arrival.
Archie Gray, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville have been the most high-profile departures from Daniel Farke’s side that reached the Championship play-off final last season.
Ramazani began his career in Belgium with Anderlecht before joining Charlton Athletic as a 12-year-old.
He spent four years with the south London club before signing for Manchester United as a youth player.
The versatile forward made 29 appearances for Almeria in La Liga last season. He missed five of the club’s final six games of the campaign after being given a five-game ban for his red card against Villarreal.
Leeds began the new Championship campaign with a 3-3 draw at newly-promoted Portsmouth before being held to a goalless draw at West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
They are next in action against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday evening.
