Julian Nagelsmann’s Germany team is pretty much set despite the retirements of several senior players, apart from one position: the striker. Niclas Füllkrug is the usual starter when he’s not there, Nagelsmann sometimes plays Kai Havertz there, much to evreyone’s chagrin. The 37-year-old former Bayern Munich coach called up Max Beier last time out against Hungary and he also has Deniz Undav on standby, but it looks like another player caught his attention:
Gladbach striker Tim Kleindienst is on Julian Nagelsmann’s radar and could get his chance in the national team if he continues his good start to the season

The 1.94m tall striker has logged two goals and an assist in the Bundesliga so far this season which, although not entirely impressive at first glance, is nothing to be scoffed at. If you remember, Kleindienst was the one who scored a brace against Werder Bremen in the relegation play-offs in 2019/20; Bremen won on away goals after a 2-2 draw at Heidenheim’s ground.
