Liverpool’s unblemished start to the season is over.
The Reds conceded their first Premier League goal and subsequently suffered their first defeat under Arne Slot on Saturday, falling 1-0 to Nottingham Forest at Anfield.
Callum Hudson-Odoi scored the contest’s lone goal, capping a quick counterattack with a precise finish into the bottom corner.

The victory is Forest’s first at Anfield in league play since 1969.
Liverpool went into the match with a 100% record after winning their first three league games under Slot, but couldn’t keep the run going coming out of the international break.
“The result frustrates the most and we cannot be happy about how the game went. It was a stop-start game and we hardly created any chances,” Slot said after the defeat, according to Agence France-Presse.
“We only have to look at ourselves, we have to be better. Far too many times we lost the ball around the area, it was not good enough. We have to be better with the ball.”
