This week, most Bayern Munich loanees returned to action following the most recent men’s international break. The six loanees to the Regionalliga played through the break, as did most of the Frauen loanees. Also, those loanees to the Austrian leagues had an extended break due to unseasonably early snowfall that blanketed most of the country. Check out the action from the last couple weeks, including a couple goals and assists sprinkled throughout.
FC Bayern Munich
There are nine players on loan from the first team.
Germany – Bundesliga
There are five players on loan in the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Franz Krätzig, Paul Wanner, and Armando Sieb.
Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
Nübel had a solid day in goal for Stuttgart on the road against Monchengladbach. He had six saves in the match — which has to be his close career high — and only allowed one goal. His teammates got three goals, all contributing to Stuttgart’s first league win of the season.
Franz Krätzig – VfB Stuttgart
Krätzig was not on the matchday squad for the 3-1 win. He is listed on the injury report with a calf injury and is estimated to return at the beginning of October.
Stuttgart has their first Champions League match of the season on Tuesday against Real Madrid in Spain. They return to league play with a home game against Dortmund on Sunday.
Paul Wanner – 1.FC Heidenheim
Wanner and Heidenheim were humbled this week when they faced Dortmund on the road. He started, but wasn’t able to put up any of the numbers he has in the season so far. He only had one shot — which was way off target — and 26 touches in the 68 minutes he played. He also capped off his frustrating day with a yellow card shortly before coming off. Heidenheim fell 4-2 in Dortumund.
Heidenheim will be back home to host Freiburg on Saturday.
Armando Sieb – 1. FSV Mainz 05
Sieb started on the bench for Mainz at home against Bremen on Sunday, and came onto the pitch in the 65th minute. Down a goal, but up a man late, Sieb had two late chances. One from about the penalty spot that just missed wide and a shot from well outside the box but required a save. This was not enough for Mainz and they fell for the first time this season.
Mainz will be on the road against Augsburg on Friday.
Gabriel Vidović – 1. FSV Mainz 05
Vidović did not appear on the team sheet for Mainz this week. He has yet to make an appearance even on the bench for Mainz since going on loan.
Spain – LaLiga
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga.
Bryan Zaragoza – CA Osasuna
Zaragoza started and played 63 minutes at home against Celta Viga. He had a fairly quiet match, but his impact was felt. He did not get a shot off, but created two chances for his team to shoot. His final contribution to the match was the assist on what would eventually prove to be the winner. He was subbed off moments after and saw his team finish out the 3-2 win.
Osasuna will face Rayo Vallecano on Monday on the road and then host Las Palmas on Saturday — both in league play.
Austria – Bundesliga
Lovro Zvonarek is the only player from the first team on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga.

He also created two chances for his teammates to shoot. He also helped on defense by blocking a shot and recording six recoveries. Unfortunately Krattenmacher’s efforts were not enough and a penalty in the 9th minute of stoppage time sent the visitors home with a 2-1 win.

Schneller was once again in goal for Schweinfurt against TSV Schwaben Augsburg, but did not have as great of a time this weekend. Despite being up 2-1 on the road at halftime, he conceded three second half goals and his team ultimately fell 4-3, but they remain the top of the league.
Schweinfurt will host SV Wacker Burghausen on Friday.
Marko Popović – Türkgücü München
Popović also started against Schweinfurt last week. He did not have any noteworthy stats, except for the yellow card he received for kicking the ball away — even though his team was down. They of course fell 2-0.
Türkgücü’s match this weekend was cancelled, likely due to weather.
Türkgücü will host SV Viktoria Aschaffenburg on Saturday.
Luka Parkadge – Altglienicke
Parkadge started for Altglienicke in the Berlin Pokal last weekend against Viktoria Berlin and played the first half. He then started on the bench this weekend, but did not get into the league match against Babelsberg with the match level at zero, which was also how it ended.

Taichi Fukui – FC Arouca
Arouca hosted league leaders Sporting CP on Friday and Fukui played all 90 minutes in a c central midfield role, instead of on the right wing that we have been used to seeing him play. He — nor the rest of his team — had a stellar day. Fukui did not attempt a shot, but created one chance for his team to shoot. He also conceded a penalty, which was converted to make it 2-0. Sporting added another goal and went on to win 3-0.

Padilla went 90 minutes in her second match, this time on the road to UDG Tenerife. She had three shots again, but this time two were on target and one was blocked.
