Bayern Munich was always known as the financially shrewd club, almost always announcing a profit after every season. Last season (2023/24), the Rekordmeister signed Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur for a league record fee yet finished the season trophyless. However, that didn’t stop them from making a staggering near billion-euro figure.
Bayern will announce a record turnover of over €900m for the 2023/24 financial year during the upcoming annual general meeting (€854.2m in 2022/23)

Making at least 50 million more euros than the previous season is nothing new for Bayern, and that figure alone is already a pipe dream for some clubs. That’s to say the Bavarians aren’t generous; they famously gave the financially ruined Borussia Dortmund a loan in 2004 and helped Kaiserslautern raise some funds for their expenditures. Not so much Big Bad Bayern now, eh?
