Bayern Munich executive Max Eberl has made it pretty clear — he would love to sell off midfielder Leon Goretzka.
Goretzka, however, has been reluctant to leave Bayern Munich (probably for a number of reasons). If, though, Goretzka does opt to leave, he could have interest from both Manchester United and West Ham:
Manchester United and West Ham are among the clubs interested in Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka, who is ‘upset’ over his lack of game time with the German giants.
The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order under new manager Vincent Kompany and has played just one minute of competitive football so far this season.
The 29-year-old is behind Aleksandar Pavlovic and summer signing Joao Palhinha in Kompany’s plans and is not happy about it.
Bayern’s director of sport, Max Eberl, said of Goretzka’s situation :’We communicated very clearly from the start.
‘Leon knew that we were relying on Pavlo [Pavlovic], and that we would bring in with Palhinha and that Josh [Kimmich] would play more in the centre again.
‘We’ve also said that when Leon is there and ready to face the situation, he’ll be treated completely normally.
‘Leon’s a great guy. I like him a lot, even though he’s obviously upset at the moment. I understand that too. But that’s part of life in football.’
The Sun report that both Manchester United and West Ham have both already shown interest in the Germany international, while other Premier League sides could well make a move if a Bayern Munich exit appears nailed on.
Goretzka’s situation is one to watch. The club could make it difficult for him to stay, but he is making a very good salary and loves where he lives, which could put him in the “Bale Zone.”
Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sané was reportedly unhappy with the club’s proposal for a contract extension and now the antennas of other clubs have gone up. Specifically, Newcastle United, Liverpool FC, and Arsenal FC could all be primed to pounce on the Germany international if he becomes available:
Newcastle are also monitoring Leroy Sane, who could leave Bayern Munich when his contract expires at the end of the season. Arsenal and Liverpool may also enter the race for Sane.
Bayern Munich has had a busy week — and so have we!

Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona, and Atlético Madrid eyeing Mason Greenwood:
Barca and Atletico were linked with the one-cap England international during that campaign, but opted against making formal approaches. According to talkSPORT, interest from Catalunya and Madrid remains, with German heavyweights Bayern also joining Greenwood’s list of suitors.
