There are many great things about managing at Bayern Munich (and maybe some not so great things as well depending on who you ask), but one of the best is the club’s close connection to the Oktoberfest festivities in the city.
New boss Vincent Kompany will get a taste of the action today.
“First of all it was important that we won (against Werder Bremen on Saturday). The boys can be happy. (Oktoberfest) is tradition. We have to respect tradition. We’re all going there. We have to have fun and then from Monday it will only be about Leverkusen and the preparation for the game,” said Kompany (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Ah yes, that pesky match against Bayer Leverkusen. Do you think fans will be amped up for that one?
