Easy, easy, easy.
It’s 3-0 before half time at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea’s B team are cruising. The third came from a superb free kick from Joao Felix. The attacking midfielder took a right footer with his instep over the wall, about as casual a set piece as you’ll see. He barely celebrated either as he added a goal to his assist for Christopher Nkunku.
This should be game over – and that should mean changes at half time or soon after. There are players on the bench who need a run out, and others in the first team (like Malo Gusto) who need a rest. We all want to see some Cobham talents in the second period too.
