Former Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick currently plies his trade at FC Barcelona, and has had a good run of it thus far. The Catalans sit atop the table in La Liga, four points clear of Real Madrid and with seven wins under their belt. Before today, those seven wins represented a perfect record. Now, thanks to a loan player from Flick’s former employers, Barca have met their match.
Bryan Zaragoza, on loan at Osasuna after being bought by Bayern last winter, had a excellent game against the Spanish league leaders, managing a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win. The win and three points bumps up Osasuna in the league table, while leaving Barca vulnerable to Madrid sneaking up behind them.

This is a great outcome for the 23-year-old, who suffered a tough start to his career in Munich by being subjected to the alleged “coaching” practices of Thomas Tuchel. If he can rediscover the spark that made Christoph Freund and Max Eberl buy him in the first place, he could come back and establish himself in the Bundesliga.
After all, beating Barca is a good way to prove that you’re Bayern Munich material.
