Jamal Musiala and Bayern Munich are in talks over a contract extension, with his current deal running until 2026. After this season, he’ll be just one year away from potentially becoming a free agent.
CaughtOffside recently reported that Liverpool have ramped up its interest in Musiala, while Manchester City, Real Madrid, and PSG are also keeping a close eye on him. Barcelona could even consider making a move for him in 2025.
Meanwhile, The Mirror notes that Manchester United are also in the mix for the German star. As for his salary demands, the Sunday Express reported that Musiala is aiming for around £300,000 per week.
Although the talks are still in the early stages, BILD has revealed that the initial discussions have been positive. Both sides are working to agree on the terms and wages, and it’ll be interesting to see how things unfold.
Despite the reporting from the German media, the 21-year-old gave a cryptic answer when asked about his plans, which has only fueled the debate about a potential departure.
“I don’t really have a plan or anything,” Musiala said in an interview with The Guardian. “I don’t try to think too far forward about where I want to be because situations can change by the year or the month. I’m open to everything but I’m very happy where I am right now.
