Olympique de Marseille will look to maintain pressure on Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco at the top of the table as they travel to the Stade de la Meinau to face an RC Strasbourg Alsace side that has lost only once this season.
Roberto De Zerbi will be without his acting-captain Leonardo Balerdi who picked up a suspension after he was sent off for a quick-fire double yellow five minutes into Marseille’s victory over Olympique Lyonnais last weekend, while left-back Quentin Merlin remains unavailable after picking up an injury.
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg surprisingly could be chosen to start in the back four this evening. Geoffrey Kondogbia had excelled in that role against Lyon, but the midfielder may be used in a more familiar midfield role. Lilian Brassier will take Merlin’s position on the left of the back four.
