Chelsea have confirmed that they will now have a very tough tie after a game played out last night and went against their favour.
Chelsea will be doing all they can to win a trophy this season, and with the Premier League title perhaps being far too ambitious for now, they will need to be looking at the domestic trophies or the Conference League trophy if they are to add to their impressive array of trophies in the cabinet from over the years.

These are the realistic routes for Chelsea and trophies this season, but one of those routes may have just become a lot tougher.
Chelsea were waiting to see whether they would be playing Newcastle United or AFC Wimbledon in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, with obviously Wimbledon being more of a favourable tie.
Chelsea will face Toon
Last night, Newcastle beat Wimbledon 1-0 but needed a penalty to do so. They narrowly got past the London club to setup a tie against Chelsea. The Blues will now need to travel up to Newcastle amongst a busy schedule and face a top Premier League side instead, as Chelsea confirmed last night.
Obviously Enzo Maresca and his players would have much preferred a London game against lesser opposition, even though Wimbledon would present a potential banana skin tie as Newcastle almost found out last night!
Chelsea say the date and time for this game is now to be confirmed. Of course Chelsea can go there and win though!
