A Premier League product making it big in another country will almost certainly alert its clubs and fight for the player’s signature. For Bayern Munich superstar Jamal Musiala, PL clubs are making a beeline for him since becoming an undisputed starter for the German giants.
“I don’t really have a plan or anything”, Musiala admitted (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “I don’t try to think too far forward about where I want to be because situations can always change by the year or by the month. At six years old I didn’t think about being in England at seven. I don’t know. I’m open to everything but I’m very happy where I am right now.” Jadon Sancho jumped from Manchester City to Borussia Dortmund then Manchester United followed by Chelsea in a career that lost its spark.
In Musiala’s defense, at least he hasn’t forgotten the first six years of his life like David Beckham has.
