The W*nker-gate controversy might finally be coming to a conclusion — at least in one respect.
Speaking to DAZN (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes said that Sven Ulreich contacted him, apologized, and that the matter is over in his eyes.
“Sven Ulreich has contacted me. That’s over for me,” Rolfes said.
Well, w*nks for nothing. While Rolfes comments are nice and could be true, the DFB has already launched an investigation and could be looking to crack down on the Bayern Munich back-up goalkeeper.
Will the organization look to crackdown on future offenders by making an example of Ulreich? Stay tuned…
