Chelsea were back in training less than 24 hours after the win over Gent, and the footage is already online showing a fun day at Cobham..
When the players were split up into groups for rondos, we noticed that the Gallic players and the Latin players were in different groups – whether by design or coincidence we don’t know.
So you’ve got Moises Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson, Marc Cucurella, Enzo Fernandez, Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Renato Veiga all in one group shouting in Spanish – then hilariously Mykhailo Mudryk included with no clue what’s going on.
He perhaps would have been a more natural fit with a third group which includes the English players – but who knows? Maybe he’s just keen to improve his Spanish.
This continues a situation we saw a couple of weeks ago when the Spanish speakers all met up for an “asado” at Enzo’s house.
