The international break means no club games, which often leads to a slew of stats online to keep people entertained in that waiting period.
Chelsea are off to a good start in the league so it’s no surprise to see them near the top of some of these lists, especially those to do with attacking, where they’ve really excellent.
TransferMarkt point out that they’re the third best “attacking trio” in Europe’s top 5 leagues if you go by goals. Interestingly they’ve fudged things a little by including Christopher Nkunku, meaning it’s more a list of “top 3 scorers at a club combined,” rather than “regular front 3”, but it’s still very curious to see who else is in the mix.
Man City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona sure. But Stuttgart and Frankfurt? That’s a little more interesting. Those front 3 are prime candidates to be picked apart next summer in the transfer window.
