Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the nomination of Victoriano Melero as CEO. He replaces Jean-Claude Blanc, who left to join INEOS last year.
Blanc joined INEOS back in 2023 before, by extension, taking on a role at Manchester United earlier this year, following INEOS’ purchase of a minority share in the Premier League club.
Marc Armstrong to join Manchester United
Since Blanc’s deparutre from PSG, Melero has been the interim CEO, sharing his functions with Marc Armstrong, who is set to return to England and join Manchester United, just as Blanc did.
Melero, who previously worked with TF1 and the FFF, joined Les Parisiens back in 2017 and his internal promotion to CEO has now been confirmed. It is a promotion that has been in the works for several weeks, with Nasser Al-Khelaifi convinced by his work. Apart from the impending departure of Armstrong, the rest of the team is not expected to change at PSG.
