Tottenham under Technical Director Johan Lange have been going strong in the transfer market with an aim of snapping up young prospects nice and early.
To that end, they have identified another promising talent who could join their ranks in the coming seasons.
Tottenham impressed by Midtjylland forward Darío Osorio
As reported by GiveMeSport, Tottenham have been left impressed by young Midtjylland forward Darío Osorio.
The 20-year-old is in his second year in Europe, having joined the Danish Superliga side last year for €5.2 million from boyhood club Universidad de Chile.
The Chile international, having been likened to a certain Ángel Di María by virtue of his playing style, has started the season in promising fashion, with three goals and an assist to his name from 16 appearances.
Osorio’s current contract with Midtjylland is set to run until June 2028.
Man United and Liverpool have also been monitoring Osorio.
Spots opening up
With Son Heung-min ageing, Timo Werner underwhelming, and Dejan Kulusevski looking like a player who could jump up a level with a bigger club in the coming years, it is safe to say the wide forward roles at Spurs are up for grabs.
Throw into the mix the club’s youth-first policy of late, we should expect more than one winger arriving at Hotspur Way in the near future.
For the time being, it would be wise of the big Premier League clubs to monitor the raw talents from afar and let them prove themselves.
