It feels like the transfer dramas for the next window are beginning to build up already, despite there being another few months before the January window opens.
Things will start to happen soon though, and any plans that clubs will have for the next window will start to come together fairly soon.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now looking at versatile Bundesliga defender for potential pending move!
Chelsea might not be as busy as they were in the summer come January, but you suspect there might be a couple of situations that could be going on.
The striker situation at the club is one that comes up pretty much every window of late, with Nicolas Jackson really the only out and out striker they have at the club right now other than youngster Marc Guiu who does not appear to be trusted yet and will likely need a loan move.
Of course Christopher Nkunku can play there, but I think he is better behind a striker or playing as a 10 personally.
Chelsea still want Osimhen
According to an exclusive from TEAMtalk, Chelsea have re-established contacts for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
Galatasaray, which is where Osimhen is on loan at right now, have no plans to sign Napoli loanee Victor Osimhen permanently but Chelsea remain interested in the forward, per the report.
Osimhen’s loan deal apparently includes a break clause that allows clubs to sign him permanently in January, if his release clause is triggered.
The clause is set at £62.8m, claims TEAMtalk.
They’ve also shut down another rumour connected to this story.
A recent report from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claimed that Galatasaray are considering signing Osimhen on a permanent deal.
However, TEAMtalk sources have strongly denied this suggestion, deeming it ‘fake news’ and adding that there is a ‘zero percent chance’ this could happen. In any case, they wouldn’t be able to afford his price tag, anyway.
Drama, drama, and more drama, with more to come!!
