Saudi Pro League clubs will reignite a move for Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.
The Belgian will be out of contract next summer, and he will be free to leave for a team in the Middle East.
Some fans on X firmly believe that De Bruyne will sign a new deal which will scare off potential suitors but others would be frustrated if he does move on a free transfer:
£250m bid and it might not be enough

Really poor from the club if he ends up going for nothing next summer when we could’ve got around £100m last summer

I think you’d be right if not more look how much they offered to Liverpool what was it £150 million I reckon we would of easily got that for kev for me he’s a lot more important to city than salah is to Liverpool

De Bruyne has flirted with the possibility of moving to Saudi
Speaking earlier this year, the 33-year-old admitted that he was tempted by the money on offer from Saudi clubs:
“At my age you have to be open to everything. You’re talking about incredible amounts of money in what may be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about that.
“If I play there for two years, I will be able to earn an incredible amount of money. Before that I had to play football for 15 years. I may not even reach that amount yet. Then you have to think about what that could mean next. But at the moment I haven’t had to think about that yet.”
Could the midfielder still sign a new contract with City?
While there have been some speculative reports indicating that the Belgian international would extend his stay at the Etihad, the most reliable sources have painted a different picture.
There are not thought to be any active talks between the player and the club, suggesting a parting of the ways at the end of the campaign is the most likely scenario. If that happens, City may lose out on a significant pay cheque.
