Paris Saint-Germain’s signing of Randal Kolo Muani initially looked like a smart move, adding a talented French player in his prime. But things haven’t gone as expected, and now the club is being advised to move on from the forward.
This week, reports have linked Kolo Muani to Manchester United as one report revealed that Manchester United are closely monitoring Kolo Muani’s situation and are reportedly ready to make a €70 million offer to bring him to Old Trafford.
Moreover, CaughtOffside added that the Red Devils have a strong interest in signing Kolo Muani, but he isn’t expected to be available in the January transfer window.
With the rumors surrounding Kolo Muani’s future in question, RMC Sport’s Daniel Riolo states that the Ligue 1 side needs to cut its losses because the striker isn’t for PSG.
“Honestly, Kolo Muani is disastrous,” Riolo said (h/t Le10Sport). “In the end, I wonder if there isn’t a huge misunderstanding with Kolo Muani. He’s the surprise guest, he shouldn’t be with Les Bleus. He shouldn’t be at PSG. In fact, he should be at a club in Germany, quietly scoring goals. He’s not a top-level No. 9; he’s a Frankfurt player, at best a Monchengladbach player.”
Kolo Muani could also be receiving signs that his future in Paris is gloomy at best as manager Luis Enrique has often chosen a false No. 9 rather than Kolo Muani, even though Gonçalo Ramos is out with an injury. When Ramos got injured, it looked like an excellent opportunity for Kolo Muani to claim the starting spot, but that hasn’t happened.
