Football Insider reported on Friday that Liverpool have joined the race to sign Palmeiras’ rising star Vitor Reis. However, the club’s focus remains on their need for a central defender.
The report adds that the young talent is keen to make a move to Europe, eyeing the chance to compete in the Champions League, but Palmeiras are determined to keep him for now.
ESPN Brazil also highlights interest from Manchester United, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain. With a contract running through December 2028 and a €100 million release clause, it’s unlikely any club will make a quick move.
Instead, the top teams are expected to spend this season closely monitoring the Brazilian defender’s development.
According to the latest report from Fichajes, three teams are interested in the player. Liverpool is eyeing him as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk, who is expected to leave for Saudi Arabia next summer.
Chelsea is also in the mix, continuing their pursuit of young talent, particularly from Brazil. Meanwhile, Real Madrid views Reis as a strong option to bolster their defense, joining Éder Militão, David Alaba, and Antonio Rüdiger.
