When news broke on Friday that Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović was battling an injury and would miss Germany’s match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, fans were very wary about the potential for more bad news to drop.
Fortunately, it looks like the youngster will be just fine.
According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @IMiaSanMia), Pavlović could finally make his first start for the German national team on Monday vs. the Netherlands:
Aleksandar Pavlović is taking part in Germany’s final training session ahead of the game against the Netherlands and is a candidate for the starting XI tomorrow.
Later, pictures emerged of Pavlović taking part in the training session:
Pascal Groß and Robert Andrich formed the double pivot for Julian Nagelsmann on Friday, but all signs point to Pavlović getting a chance to make his first start for Germany.
