Tottenham Hotspur had a massive hold in their attack as they looked to replace Harry Kane for the majority of the previous season, and the North Londoners were linked with multiple strikers from around Europe in the lead up to the recently concluded summer transfer window, and Daniel Levy forked out a massive £65m as the Lilywhites signed England striker Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth.
While the ex-Liverpool striker had a slow start to his time in London, he executed calmness during the tense situations and got himself running for his new employers. We have seen the 27-year-old put in some impressive displays donning the Spurs badge already, showcasing his ability to not only find the back of the net but also contribute to the team’s overall play.
His physical attributes, complemented by the technical quality to play with his back to the goal, make him an ideal Harry Kane replacement at N17.
Bent believes Solanke would have thrived at Arsenal
And former Lilywhites striker Darren Bent now suggests that the England international would have been an ideal signing for Tottenham’s North London neighbours Arsenal. While it is still early to say whether Dom Solanke is a success at the Lilywhites, we have seen attributes that show his capabilities to make an impact in most competitive games.

“Yeah, I think he would have been a hit at Arsenal. For sure. Because he has the right temperament and looks like he wants to continue improving, I have never heard any stories about him being a bad egg. Yeah, I think he would have been a hit at Arsenal.”
