Manchester City wide forward Jack Grealish has recently been speaking about his admiration for Tottenham Hotspur skipper Heung-min Son, with the former Aston Villa ace ranking the South Korean higher than the likes of Liverpool’s in-form left winger Luis Diaz and Bayern Munich icon Franck Ribery.
The England international, speaking in an interview with talkSPORT, was comparing top wingers in world football where he acknowledged Luis Diaz’ quality; however, he went on to choose the 32-year-old Spurs star as a superior player owing to his consistency and the impact that Son has had at White Hart Lane.
Jack Grealish ranks Son above Ribery
The aforementioned comments came as a source of amazement for many, especially when he mentioned French winger Franck Ribery, who has a legendary career with the Bundesliga giants. And Grealish insists that despite everything that Ribery represents, Son’s overall contributions with the Lilywhites make him a standout player.
That being said, the 29-year-old did not put Son as his best winger of all time; he opted for Chelsea icon Eden Hazard in the respective category while ultimately choosing Cristiano Ronaldo as the best overall.

To put a few things into perspective, Son is already an icon at Hotspur Way for everything he has done at N17, and his longevity, complemented by consistency and influence at Tottenham, has secured him a legendary status in modern football, no matter if he goes on to win a silverware with Spurs or not.
Tottenham, at the moment, are pondering how long the 32-year-old will continue at Hotspur Way as his future at Spurs remains uncertain going into the final twelve months of his contract.
