Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci has revealed that he is watching videos of Manchester City’s Rodri to improve his game.
The Italian international also admitted that it is “very pleasing” to be linked with a move to the Etihad but he is keen to focus on his football:
“I’ve done a lot of training on turning my head to check what’s behind me, as it can make the difference. Sometimes you need to look more than twice, Luciano Spalletti taught me that too. My coach sends me videos to study, many of them are of Rodri. You can see the importance of the little things. I still have to improve on so many little things, like my positioning.”
City supporters on X are hoping that Ricci does secure his switch to Manchester in the not-too-distant future:

A move to City in January looks unlikely
There have been reports that both City and Arsenal are weighing up bids for Ricci and that approaches could be made as early as the New Year.
However, journalist Fabrizio Romano has played down those claims, stating that Torino are unwilling to sell the 23-year-old before the summer.
How much will it cost to sign Ricci?
It is believed that an offer in excess of €50m (£42m) could be enough to tempt Torino into selling their prized asset.
That would be a significant outlay and it remains to be seen whether City will go ahead and make a formal proposal.
