Bayern Munich is set to face off with VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga and things might just have gotten a little more difficult.
After an injury scare during the international break while playing with the German national team, Deniz Undav is returning to team training on Thursday and should be ready to go against Bayern Munich this weekend per VfB Stuttgart’s official X account.
Undav, who has been great for Germany, is a key figure for VfB Stuttgart and could test the sometimes shaky Bayern Munich backline on Saturday:
Good news: Deniz #Undav is expected to return to team training on Thursday after his free Wednesday and will be available for #FCBVfB on Saturday.
Before suffering an injury that kept him out of action vs. the Netherlands, Undav had scored three goals in the previous teams for the German national team. For VfB Stuttgart, Undav has six goals and one assist in 10 games across all competitions this season.
