Although we had an international break this last weekend, we still had some Bayern Munich in action this week. Some of them were called up to their national teams as Nations League and EURO U-21 qualifiers took place across Europe this window. The fourth division teams, as well as the women’s teams were still in action. Check out who scored this week for club and country.
Note: Those not in action this weekend were left completely out of the article.
FC Bayern Munich
There are nine players on loan from the first team.
Germany – Bundesliga
There are five players on loan in the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Franz Krätzig, Paul Wanner, and Armando Sieb.
Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
With Marc-André ter Stegen out, Nübel finally had a chance to play in goal for Germany. IT was a bizarre game that involved four Germany putting four goals in the back of the net, but only two goals counted. In true Nübel-fashion, he did not record a single save, but it was enough to get the win. He passed well as Germany played out of the back, only misplaying two long balls in all. While he likely did not claim the number one spot, he did not make it easier for Nagelsmann.
After watching the second match of the break on Monday from the bench at the Allianz Arena, Nübel will be right back there to take on his parent club on Saturday.
Franz Krätzig – VfB Stuttgart
Krätzig was called into Germany’s U-21 camp for this international break. He was on the bench only for the first match — a 2-1 win over Bulgaria on Friday — but he did not make onto the pitch.
Paul Wanner – 1.FC Heidenheim
Wanner was also called into Germany’s U-21 camp for the EURO U-21 qualifications. He was scheduled to start against Bulgaria, but was seen limping during warmups and was moved to the bench and did not appear. On Tuesday, he was back in the starting lineup against Poland’s U-21. Wanner scored in the 21st minute to take the lead 2-1. Less than ten minutes later, Germany went up 3-1 courtesy of a Loan Works Alumnus, Bright Arrey-Mbi. Poland would come back with two goals in the second half to earn a 3-3 draw. This was still enough for Germany’s U-21 to qualify top of their group for next summer’s tournament.
Wanner will return to club action on Saturday with a road match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Spain – LaLiga
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga.
Bryan Zaragoza – CA Osasuna
Zaragoza was called into the Spanish national team for their two Nation Leagues matches against Denmark and Serbia. He was on the bench for the match against Denmark, but did not make it onto the bench. He made his debut — earning his first international cap — when he came into the match in the 78th minute against Serbia. He had two shots — one blocked and one that was on goal, requiring a save. Spain went on to a dominant 3-0 against a 10-man Serbia.
Zaragoza and Osasuna will host Real Betis on Saturday.
Austria – Bundesliga
Lovro Zvonarek is the only player from the first team on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga.
Lovro Zvonarek – Sturm Graz
Zvonarek was called into Croatia’s U-21 camp for their EURO U-21 qualifiers. He only appeared on the bench for one match — a 2-1 win over Andorra — but he did not make it onto the field.
Zvonarek will be back with Austrian league leaders, Sturm Graz on Saturday in a local derby against Grazer AK.
FC Bayern Munich II
There are twelve players on loan from the second team.
Germany – Regionalliga
There are six players Regionalliga teams: Lukas Schneller in Regionalliga Bayern, Luka Parkadge and Robert Deziel Jr in Regionalliga Nordost, and Yousef Qashi and Benedikt Wimmer in Regionalliga West.
Lukas Schneller – Schweinfurt 05
Schneller started in goal and played the full match. He kept a clean sheet for more than 90 minutes, but the narrow 1-0 win was snatched away when Schweinfurt conceded a goal in stoppage time of the second half. The match ended 1-1.
Schweinfurt will travel to face FC Würzburger Kickers on Friday.
Marko Popovic – Türkgücü München
Popovic started on the bench for Türkgücü München and entered the match at halftime with his team down 1-0. They scored a goal in the second half, but unfortunately their opponents did too. They fell 2-1.
Türkgücü München will travel to face 1. FC Nürnberg II on Saturday.
Luka Parkadge – Altglienicke
Parkadge started and played the full 90 minutes for Altglienicke in the Berlin Pokal against SV Bucholz of the ninth division. His team scored early and often in a drubbing of the lower league foe. Parkadge got in on the action with a goal in the 67th minute to make it 6-0!
Rober Deziel Jr – Altglienicke
Deziel also started for Altglienicke and got on the scoresheet as well. His goal came in stoppage time of the first half to make it 4-0 at the half. He was subbed off in the 71st minute when his team was up 7-0, but they would add two more goals against their poor ninth division opponents, to bring the final score to 9-0.
Altglienicke will be back in action — against fellow fourth division opponents — when they return to league play against Hertha 03 Zehlendorf on Saturday.
Yousef Qashi – Wupertaler SV
Qashi was on the bench, but did not make it onto the pitch for Wupertaler’s 0-0 draw against 1.FC Düren on Saturday.
Benedikt Wimmer – Wupertaler SV
Wimmer started and played the full 90 minute for Wupertaler SV and helped keep the clean sheet in the 0-0 draw in league play.
Wupertalker SV will face 1.FC Köln’s second team on Friday.
Austria – Bundesliga
Matteo Pérez Vinlöf is the only player on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga from the second team.
Matteo Pérez Vinlöf – Austria Wien
Vinlöf was called into Sweden’s U-21 camp for their qualifiers this week. He was on the bench for two matches — a 3-2 win over Georgia and a 3-0 loss against the Netherlands — but did not make it onto the pitch for either match.
Vinlöf will look to get playing time when he is back with Austria Wien when they travel to face SK Austria Klagenfurt.
FC Bayern Frauen
There are five players on loan from FC Bayern’s Frauen team.
Germany — Frauen-Bundesliga
Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir is the only player on loan in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir – Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Vilhjálmsdóttir started and play 69 minutes on the road against Werder Bremen. She had two shots — one blocked and one off target. She also only completed 36% of her passes on the day. She left the match up 1-0, but Leverkusen conceded in the 90th minute to split the points 1-1.
Leverkusen will host Vilhjálmsdóttir’s parent club, Bayern on Sunday.
England – Women’s Super League
Jill Baijings is the only player on loan to the Women’s Super League.

Natalia Padilla – FC Sevilla

Sevilla will host Espanyol on Saturday.
Sweden – Damallsvenskan
Momoko Tanikawa is the only player on loan to the Damallsvenskan.
Momoko Tanikawa – FC Rosengård
