Chelsea will face big competition should they wish to pursue the interest they have in one seemingly very sought-after star in one of the up and coming transfer windows.
The Blues will always be up for opportunities and looking what is around on the market, and they will continue to be seriously linked with all the big names and also any rising stars coming through despite pretty much competing a full squad rebuild in the last couple of seasons.
EXCLUSIVE! Surprise Chelsea player impressing training ground staff, but not for his quality….
There is one player who they have been loosely linked with lately who is now wanted by Aston Villa, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham as well.
According to a recent report from i news, Chelsea have joined the race to sign 22-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk playmaker Georgiy Sudakov, and they will compete with Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham.
The 22-year-old is becoming highly rated in Europe and of course, already has a Chelsea friend in the shape on national team mate with Ukraine, Mykhailo Mudryk.
Villa join the race
And now, according to a report from CaughtOffside, Aston Villa have entered the race for the services of Georgiy Sudakov.
Sudakov has come up the ranks at Shakhtar, getting 47 goal contributions in his 111 appearances for their first team.
To be honest though, I can’t see Chelsea even making a move or joining this race that seems to be brewing up. I don’t think his position would be a priority if Chelsea are to go on signing more new players.
I’m sure they have done due diligence on him and have at least been keeping an eye on him, like they do with many players.
Sudakov plays as an attacking midfielder or a central midfielder and of course, Chelsea spent a lot of money forming the midfield of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, and then you have the likes of Cole Palmer, who has become the Chelsea star man, Joao Felix, and Christopher Nkunku who play in the attacking midfield roles.
