Images purporting to show Manchester City’s new home kit for the 2025/26 season have leaked online.
Footyheadlines report that Puma’s latest design will be sky blue (as expected) but it includes a darker-coloured sash across the kit.
After seeing a mockup picture of the new shirt, most supporters on X are very happy with what Puma have come up with, although some are not so sure:

The sash has been included on away kits
While it has never been on a home shirt, the sash has been a common sight among City’s away and third kits over the years.
A red and blue sash first appeared on the 1972 white away shirt, with a white and red sash being used on the corresponding third jersey.
Umbro have also regularly used red and black sashes on City’s white away kits, but the last one came in 2018 when Nike used an orange sash on the purple third kit.
When will City’s 2025/26 home shirt be released?
There is no official date yet as we are still very early on into the season but Puma unveiled their last home shirt in May.
You would expect a similar release schedule next year. City’s deal with Puma lasts until 2029. A £65m a year contract was signed in 2019 with the agreement set to last at least a decade.
