Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Kyle Walker is unlikely to play against Sparta Prague in midweek.
The 34-year-old was not in the matchday squad for the 2-1 win over Wolves at the weekend, with the only explanation given that he isn’t fully fit.
Walker‘s issue stems from his time on international duty and he didn’t take a full part in training before the trip to Molineux.
At this moment in time, the fullback is not expected to be out for an extended period so a return for the next league game is likely.
