Manchester City captain Kyle Walker is being targeted by Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, according to The Sun.
The English tabloid report that the 34-year-old could be the latest Premier League player to make the switch to the club.
Ivan Toney joined from Brentford in a deal worth £40m last summer, while former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and ex-Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino made the same move 12 months earlier.
Walker still has just under two years left on a three-year contract he signed in September last year. The fullback had been tempted to make the switch to Bayern Munich but head coach Pep Guardiola managed to persuade him to stay.
City have set their asking price
The Sun claim that if Al-Ahli do make a concerted effort to sign Walker, the Premier League champions will demand a fee in the region of £20m for the player.
While he may now be reaching the end of his career, the fullback remains a top defender and Guardiola would be loathed to lose him, especially as he is also one of the leaders in the squad.
More than one player will be targeted by Saudi teams
It should be pointed out that City only managed to fend off interest in Ederson during the last transfer window as neither Al-Ittihad nor Al-Nassr were prepared to match his £50m valuation.
There are other players being targeted too. It was reported last month that Saudi Pro League clubs had revived their interest in Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian international is out of contract at the end of the season and he could move to the Middle East on a free transfer.
Mateo Kovacic is also believed to be on the radar of Al-Nassr, with former Manchester United and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo “championing” a move for him.
