Things between Bayern Munich and Jamal Musiala are looking pretty good at the moment. The attacker could be set to extend his contract through 2029 or 20230 per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg:
Jamal #Musiala is eager to play in Barcelona on Wednesday evening and is working intensively on his comeback after missing the Stuttgart match due to hip joint issues.
⚠️ Meanwhile, there is still strong indication that Musiala will extend his contract long-term until 2029 or 2030. All parties are optimistic that Musiala will agree to a new mega-deal ✔️
Musiala would be the first step in what will surely be a long process of reshaping the club’s future. Some older players will not be back or will have their roles reduced even further, while some mid-career players will be sold or allowed to walk away so Bayern Munich can revamp its personnel.
It is still difficult to completely rule out Manchester City, Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC, Real Madrid, or FC Barcelona making a last ditch effort to ink Musiala, but — right now — it feels like Musiala will extend his deal.
Bayern Munich star Harry Kane’s hat-trick performance against VfB Stuttgart was good enough to land him a spot on WhoScored.com’s Bundesliga Team of the Week:
Bayern Munich fended off a frustrating first half to put forth a dominant effort in the second half to secure a 4-0 victory over visiting VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.
The Bavarians used three second half goals from Harry Kane and one more from Kingsley Coman to race from VfB stuttgart, who looked worn down by the Bavarians throughout the final 45 minutes.
There is a lot to talk about, so let’s get to it. This is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show:

Despite rumors that his career could be over, David Alaba is working hard to get back on the field for Real Madrid:
⚪️ David #Alaba is continuing to work intensively on his comeback!
Been told he is aiming to return to playing for @realmadrid by the second half of the season at the latest.
Currently, he feels good, and thoughts of retirement were never an issue. Alaba is optimistic about regaining his full strength soon.
Good for Alaba…the initial news that came out made things sound so grim, but it looks like is going to be able to least give it a run.
Paris Saint-Germain is keeping an eye on Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford:
Paris Saint-Germain have reignited their interest in signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. The French side wanted a deal worth £75m during the summer but United held out for over £100m.
Bayern Munich is back in action and — like always — there is a lot to talk about with the team.
The Bavarians have a big match with VfB Stuttgart, but there are a lot of high-level subjects that have rushed to the forefront of what fans are debating, so let’s get to it! This is what we have on tap for this week’s episode of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Weekend Warm-up Show:

We can take this with a grain or two of salt…but — for a second — let’s assume it is true, what the hell is going on in MLS?
NEYMAR TO JOIN MESSI?
Neymar has reportedly made a verbal agreement to join #InterMiamiCF. The Brazilian’s contract with Al-Hilal expires in the summer of 2025. He’ll then become a free agent.https://t.co/k8BejxZmc4

Despite his troubles in the Middle East, it does not feel like Neymar is done in EMEA just yet. Joining Messi would seem like…too much for any team in MLS even with Neymar’s injuries and off-the-field distractions.
At one point, a potential move to Bayern Munich for Manchester City star Kyle Walker was all the rage. Now, though, Walker might actually opt to leave Pep Guardiola’s club:
Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker could be allowed to leave in the summer, says The Daily Star.
Walker, 34, is a reported target of Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli but City want around £15m to sign the England international.
