Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol scored an outstanding equaliser against Wolves.
The Premier League champions had to react after Jorgen Strand Larsen had put the home side in the lead at Molineux and Gvardiol was the man to get his team back on level terms with a spectacular strike with his right foot.
Supporters on X have been waxing lyrical about Gvardiol and his ability to score from distance:
World class performance from him🔥

It was reminiscent of a goal Gvardiol scored last season
Considering that the Croatian international is ostensibly a centre-back who is predominantly left-footed, seeing him score with his weaker side from long-range should be surprising.
However, Gvardiol showed against Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this year how capable he can be when shooting off his right foot, finding the net at the Bernabeu with a very similar goal to the one he produced on Sunday afternoon.
Controversy over City’s winner overshadowed the defender’s goal
The decision to award John Stones’ goal late into added time has prompted a lot of debate, with the officials ultimately deciding that Bernardo Silva was not offside in the build-up.
Wolves felt aggrieved that the Portuguese international had obstructed their keeper Jose Sa but City won’t care too much as they grabbed a vital three points.
