According to a report from Mundo Deportivo (as captured by Get Spanish Football News), FC Barcelona midfielder / defender Eric Garcia is likely to miss the Champions League match on Wednesday against Bayern Munich:
La Liga giants Barcelona will be without the services of Eric García for the club’s upcoming return to the continent.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Monday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Barcelona were of course back in action late last night, when the Catalans welcomed Sevilla to Catalunya’s capital, for a La Liga clash.
Eric, for his part, was included in the initial XI named by boss Hansi Flick for the clash, due to start at the base of midfield.
Whilst warming up, however, the former Manchester City man pulled up with an issue in his right adductor, forcing him out of Barca’s line-up, and to the bench.
Marca (via @iMiaSanMia) captured footage of FC Barcelona’s final training session and reported that Garcia was not in attendance:
