Kylian Mbappe reportedly clashed with Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi as his career at the club came to an end after finding his young brother Ethan in tears in the dressing room.
Mbappe left the French giants at the end of last season, with the superstar joining Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer.
He had long been linked with a move to Real Madrid and confirmed in May that he would leave PSG when his contract expired.
Mbappe had been banished from the first team squad earlier in the season after turning down a one-year contract extension, before being reintegrated by coach Luis Enrique.
His fractious relationship with the club was reportedly strained further in the final weeks of last season.

A French report claims Al-Khelaifi ordered coach Luis Enrique to leave Ethan out of his squad
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, PSG president Al-Khelaifi had ordered Luis Enrique to leave out Kylian’s younger brother Ethan from his squad on May 12.
The report claims the instruction came for the PSG head coach not to continue integrating the youngster into the first team set-up, having made two prior league appearances.
The match was PSG’s final home game of the season, where Mbappe would make his final appearance at the Parc de Princes for the club.
The report claims Mbappe had discovered Ethan, 17, crying in the dressing room after being axed for the match.
Mbappe was said to have had a ‘huge clash’ with Al-Khelaifi over the treatment of his brother.
While Ethan was left out of the team, Mbappe started and scored but the hosts suffered a 3-1 defeat by Toulouse.
The Mbappe brothers had appeared together post-match, with the duo posing with their mother Fayza Lamari after collecting prizes for PSG winning the title.
It would prove Mbappe’s final league match for the club before completing his free transfer to Real Madrid in the summer. He played in PSG’s win over Lyon in the Coupe de France final later that month.

Ethan would also leave the French giants and join their Ligue 1 rivals Lille on a free transfer
Ethan, however, was named on the bench for PSG’s penultimate league match against Nice and played for 28 minutes against Metz on the final day.
The teenager would ultimately follow his brother out of PSG at the end of the season.
Ethan, who came through the PSG academy, moved to their Ligue 1 rivals Lille in the summer.
The 17-year-old has made four appearances for his new club since signing a three-year deal, but his start to life at the club has been hampered by injuries.
Earlier this month, PSG were ordered to pay Kylian around 55 million euros (£46m) in salary and bonuses he is reportedly owed.
The French football league’s governing body ruled in favour of the France captain last week.
PSG have vowed to appeal the decision, stating they they would be ‘forced to bring the case before the competent courts’ while still trying to find an ‘amicable solution’ with Mbappe
