Manchester City are one of three Premier League teams keeping tabs on Real Valladolid winger Raul Moro, according to Super Deporte.
The Spanish publication reports that the 21-year-old has caught the attention of scouts from the Cityzens, Liverpool and Tottenham.
Moro has already played for six different clubs despite his young age. He started out life at Espanyol before moving across the city to Barcelona.
Lazio then paid €6m to secure the promising youngster’s services in the summer of 2019 but things didn’t work out for him in Italy.
The forward was sent out on three loan spells, one at Ternana, another at Real Oviedo before landing at Valladolid. He secured a permanent move back to Spain in July this year.
Why are City interested in the player?
Moro is only 5ft 6in tall but he does have good technical ability and a low centre of gravity which means he is excellent at keeping possession of the ball.
While the Spaniard had good numbers in youth football, his output in the final third at senior level leaves a lot to be desired, and that is one area he has to improve.
Saying that, though, Moro has started this season in promising form, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist in 13 appearances, and he was handed his first cap for Spain’s U21s last month.
Moro is available for a pretty low price
Super Deporte claim that Real Valladolid would be open to selling the winger for around €10m (£8.3m). That is quadruple what they paid for him in the summer but it is a modest fee for a club like City.
It is up for debate whether Moro is ready to make the step up to the Premier League but he is clearly one to watch out for in the future.
