Are you still flying after yesterday’s comprehensive 0-4 win over Manchester City at the Etihad? I sure am. The win put Spurs back up to sixth in the table, just four points out of second place. As up and down as the results have been this season, Spurs are very much still in the top four race and that feels pretty darn good.
But if you’re a Liverpool fan you’re probably feeling even better today. If Liverpool can earn a victory over Southampton at St. Mary’s, they can go eight points clear of City at the top of the table. Of course, as Spurs fans we don’t necessarily want that, so… go Saints? Sure.
This is your Sunday football open thread. Tawk about footbaahl heah. It’s like a big stick of buttah. No big whoop.
