When Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović broke his collarbone earlier this season, it was assumed by many that the youngster would be sidelined for the rest of the Hinrunde.
Not so fast my friend…maybe.
During his pregame press conference ahead of Bayern Munich’s visit to Borussia Dortmund for Der Klassiker, Vincent Kompany offered this update (via @iMiaSanMia): “All players who were available against Paris will also be available tomorrow. (Pavlović is) doing well. If he has a good training week next week, he might be back for the game against Heidenheim.”
The Heidenheim match is next Saturday, December 7th, which seems…really quick (and maybe a little unnecessary). Could we really see the phenom back patrolling the central midfield?
We will not have to wait long to find out.
