Brighton started the season very well as they managed to win against Everton away and Manchester United at home.

Their first loss came at the end of September against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge. However, Brighton managed to turn things around and win against Tottenham and Newcastle.
Once again, the unstable form continued as the Seagulls drew against Wolves and lost against Liverpool. Then, came the long-awaited big match against Manchester City at home.
This was the moment where Brighton showed what they are truly capable of. Miraculously, they managed to take the three points from the Citizens, outperforming them all over the pitch.
In the final two matches, Brighton won against Bournemouth away and drew with Southampton at home. At the moment, the club has 6 wins, 5 draws, and 2 losses.
Brighton Players That Stand Out This Season
There are several players responsible for the club’s solid performances this season. In the defence, we must point out Pervis Estupinan, Jan Paul van Hecke, and Joel Veltman. These three are key players who Fabian Hurzeler trusts the most.
In the midfield, we’ll mention Yasin Ayari and Carlos Baleba. Both players have had ups and downs, but the team suffers greatly whenever they aren’t on the pitch.
Brighton’s attack is the team’s main weapon. The strikers that are performing very well so far are Danny Welbeck, Kaoru Mitoma, and Joao Pedro. All three of them have scored a total of 16 goals, which is 72% of the club’s goals in the EPL.
