The final Merseyside derby to be played at Goodison Park is set to take place on February 11, according to a report.
Everton were due to invite their city rivals Liverpool to their famous old ground on Saturday afternoon but the clash was postponed in the 11th hour due to Storm Darragh.
Both clubs have been in talks with the Premier League, police and broadcasters over rearranging the match.
According to The Mirror, the fixture has been penciled in for next February, although this will need to be approved by UEFA, who do not appreciate domestic games taking place on the same night as their European competitions.
Premier League rules state that postponed fixtures should be played at the next available midweek slot but the Reds’ progression in the Carabao Cup means that options are limited.
Arne Slot‘s side face Southampton in the quarter-final of the competition and might not have a free midweek until February if they get through to the last four. Meanwhile, the Reds’ perfect record in the Champions League group stage means they have all but avoided a two-legged play-off in the new year.

TNT Sports hold the UK TV rights for the clash and the Champions League play-off but they have given the go-ahead for the rescheduled date, according to The Mirror’s report.
The fixture can be officially confirmed after next week’s Carabao Cup quarter-finals and once Liverpool are mathematically certain of their Champions League last 16 place.
The Premier League leaders need only a point from their two remaining group stage matches against Lille and PSV next month.
Defeat to Russell Martin’s side in the League Cup could see the match take place a month earlier.
