West Ham United decided to part ways with David Moyes at the end of last season, and he has recently taken over at Everton.
David Moyes did a fantastic job for West Ham on the whole, but the football he was implementing didn’t align with our identity as a club in the end.
Since leaving the London Stadium, Moyes has suggested on numerous occasions that the Hammers don’t seem as stable as we were under his leadership.
The 61-year-old is now back in the Premier League, after returning to his former club Everton.
In fairness to Moyes, he has already made an instant impact at Goodison Park, guiding them to successive wins over Tottenham and Brighton.
Now he could be set to throw his hat into the ring in the race to sign some of Graham Potter‘s key transfer targets before deadline day.
That’s a big blow for Potter, with reinforcements desperately required at the London Stadium.
David Moyes back to haunt West Ham before deadline day
The former Hammers boss could scupper a couple of Potter’s transfer plans before deadline day it seems.
Potter will be well aware that he needs to bring in a couple of big signings before the window slams shut on Monday.
However, the Toffees could be set to wreak havoc with West Ham’s plan to seal deals for two top priority transfer targets.
That’s because The Athletic are claiming that Moyes is eyeing up two very exciting transfers for Everton.

The Toffees boss is said to be in for two of West Ham’s top January transfer targets – Carney Chukwuemeka and Evan Ferguson.
Losing out on two of Potter’s top targets to our former manager would be a really bitter pill to swallow.
Chukwuemeka’s power, pace, athleticism and technical ability would take the Hammers to a whole new level in the middle of the park.
Meanwhile, Ferguson would act as the perfect focal point for our attacking play, and he would be able to link up all of our actions inside the final third.
Losing out to Everton boss David Moyes on two of our top transfer targets in the January window would be a major blow for West Ham.
Moyes coming back to haunt the Hammers in 2025 definitely wasn’t on my bingo card!
