Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich did not like to concede two goals in the final minutes vs. Holstein Kiel and believes that those kind of lapses needs to be fixed if the team is ever going to reach its potential.
“We’re currently lacking the hunger for 90 minutes. It’s not a question of quality,” Kimmich said after the match in comments captured via @iMiaSanMia. “It’s more in the minds. We must not lose our principles. If we lose them, we’re a normal team. That makes us vulnerable against any team.”
Kimmich, who now started 50 games in a row for Bayern Munich, along with every minute of this season per @iMiaSanMia, will need to play a key on-field role if anything is to change. As a player who has not sat out at any point this season, the Germany international can lead by example and also help with communication to ensure Bayern Munich can avoid potential pitfalls in the future.
