Bayern Munich reportedly has made winger recruitment a priority for the summer transfer window, and it is not hard to see why.
Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry, and Kingsley Coman form a trio of highly-paid veterans who are all approaching 30. On the other side, last year’s addition Michael Olise is young, fiery, and probably the most important player of the group.
But efforts to duplicate that feat are not proving easy. According to transfers journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea FC have already beaten Bayern to the punch on one talent: Sporting’s Geovany Quenda.

Bayern will sign a ‘very important’ winger in the summer. The club has already started talks with the agents of several wingers around Europe. Quenda was one of them [@FabrizioRomano]
Quenda is a 17-year-old €50M talent whom ESPN is touting as a potential “answer” to Arsenal FC’s Bukayo Saka.
Meanwhile another bright attacker has been linked to the Bavarians — Brighton’s Karou Mitoma. Via @iMiaSanMia_GER:
