Looking to find the next Jamie Vardy will be very difficult. This time Leicester need more than the attributes of JV9. They need a player who can fit more easily into different patterns. They also need to sign a player who can progress from his current level. He should take the next level as it comes.
There are a few rumours out there, but none that fits the picture better than Jay Stansfield. Stansfield (22) has scored 16 league goals for Birmingham this season.
Last summer he made his move to The Blues from Fulham for a fee of £15million. The fee could rise to £20million, so a very difficult deal to get over a potential line. We do believe a move away from Birmingham would be difficult to pull through.
So far he looks a player that certainly would see a return to Premier League action. He is also an England U.20 international. Birmingham will most certainly do what it takes to keep such a great player.

Leicester need to offload many players before next season. This will allow them to sign quality additions. We believe Jay Stansfield would fit perfectly in an attacking three. He would team up with Stephy Mavididi and Abdul Fatawu.
Stansfield has a style of play similar to Robert Lewandowski. Stansfield is a clever forward. He will soon be back in action at the very highest level. He is one forward we will see a lot of in the years to come.
We do believe Leicester are relegated after this season. However, if the club stays up, this player is one to move for either way.
