Tottenham set to up their ante to beat their Premier League rivals to the signing of Southampton talent Tyler Dibling
Tottenham Hotspur have adopted a strategy that focuses on investing in youth and unlocking their potential. The club honcho Daniel Levy, known for identifying emerging talents and developing them into standout performers, wants to compound on the transfer strategy this summer as well.
Levy’s recent successes include the captures of Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray, both signed last year and already proving their worth at Hotspur Way. It is now about enhancing the pool of highly-regarded talents and grooming them within the corridors of N17. And the club chiefs have set their sights on one English talent.
Southampton starlet Tyler Dibling has been on the radar of Tottenham since last year. The Lilywhites were interested in signing the Englishman during the winter transfer window but Southampton were reluctant to let him leave amid their fight against relegation.
The teenager’s displays at the St Mary’s Stadium have won him many admirers across the Premier League. Tyler Dibling is expected to leave the Saints once their relegation from the Premier League is confirmed, with Ivan Juric’s side having only picked up nine points from 29 games this season.
According to an exclusive report from GIVEMESPORT, Spurs are set to accelerate their plans to sign Dibling. They want to build their squad for the future by signing one of the top-flight’s best young players, with the Southampton prodigy keen on a move to White Hart Lane before the 2025/26 season commences.
Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the Exeter-born attacker, who has been impressive during his breakout season in the Premier League. Whilst just 19, Dibling has been a nightmare to contain for the full-backs this season. His ability to get out of tight spaces and dribble his way from the marker before making an incisive pass in the final third has been truly impressive.

The England youth international also flourishes in breaking down low-blocks, something which Tottenham as a unit have struggled at times this season despite possessing creative players such as James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-min. Due to his burst of acceleration and ball-carrying ability, he also excels in counter-attacking situations and would bring a different dimension to Spurs’ attack.
The aforementioned report adds Tottenham could up their ante to sign Dibling knowing several clubs are vying for his services and waiting for Southampton’s relegation. He is likely to embark on a fresh challenge once the South Coast side’s relegation is confirmed, and the versatile attacker remains attracted to the North London side’s project under Ange Postecoglou.
More Tottenham Hotspur News:
Southampton are unwilling to sell Dibling for anything less than £55million, but with the player set to enter the final year of his contract at the end of June and them on the verge of losing their top-flight status, they barely stand any chance of getting anything closer to their valuation.
As for Tottenham, it is good to see them planning to accelerate their pursuit of Dibling, who if he signs on the dotted lines during the summer transfer window would represent nothing less than a mega coup.
